Kosi Productions has its origins on the banks of the river that flows from Everest. Roger Huyton was a member of the team that made the first descent of the river in 1976. The expedition was captured in the multi-award winning film “Dudh Kosi The Relentless River of Everest” and broadcast throughout the world. The whole experience inspired Roger to make his career in Film and Television working for TV companies in the UK and throughout the world. Eventually he decided to bring together this experience and the contacts he has made making Documentaries and Corporate films to produce DVD’s and Programmes through his company Kosi Productions.

The same pressures of environment and time restrictions that is ever-present when filming adventure programmes are also a characteristic when filming in a high-pressure work place. The need to get the right shot first time can be as critical when filming industrial processes as it is when filming dramatic events in hostile environments; it is this experience that Kosi Productions brings to all of its commissions.

Sue Haycock has spent her working life in the production of television documentaries, starting her career in the BBC as a researcher and progressing to become an Assistant Producer and Director on many prestigious documentary series.  She has specialised in travel, arts, music and natural history, and has worked alongside many distinguished presenters such as Sir David Attenborough, Sir Simon Rattle, Dame Margot Fonteyn, Julian Pettifer, Edward Said, Alan Titchmarsh and many others.  For the last 20 years Sue has concentrated on the editing process which she finds the most rewarding and creative part of the film-making process.  Her editing credits include two series of "A Year at Kew" for the BBC, two series of "The Tube" for ITV, and the highly acclaimed 6-part series, "A  Year in Tibet" for the BBC, as well as many films for National Geographic, the Discovery Channel and Reader’s Digest. Since editing “ A year at Kew” Sue has continued working with Roger on a number of Kosi Production projects.

Sai Smith combines an impressive catalogue of ‘traditional’ work with a current record in shooting “high end” videos for the music and advertising industry. His unparalleled skill with High Definition cameras and equipment recently led to him being featured on the popular Channel 5 programme “The Gadget Show” to advise on the production of music promos.

Finn Brandt has worked with Roger Huyton on various projects since the late ‘80’s. Having arrived from Denmark, Finn began working for some of the top animation companies in London before setting up Brandt Animation in 1992.

Based in the heart of London’s Soho district, only 5 minutes walk from the major TV and Film production facilities, he now specialises in creating on-screen branding, idents for film and broadcast television, corporate video, music promos, virtual rides and online animation and graphics.
